A lawsuit was opened by Jaguar Land Rover against Jianling Motors, a Chinese company which has launched the “Landwind X7”- a SUV that copies the design of Evoque.

The lawsuit, which has lasted for some years, belongs to Tata Motors; an Indian company owner of the British trademark was opened in Pequin Court, in China, by claiming about copyrights violation and disloyal competition. After the Evoque’s new design, Land Wind renewed its models again based on the line of the competitors design.
